Pro: the second biggest amphitheatre afeter Colosseum
Cons: poor promotion, public transport inadequate, poor signpots
This amphitheatre is one of the abandoned archaeological sites in Campania. It is forgotten and almost unknown. It was built at the end of the I century and it is the second biggest roman amphitheatre after the famous Colosseum. Unfourtunaly, there is no promotion of this wonderful site neither adequate public transport nor signpots if you want to get there by car. The Anfiteatro Capuano is one of the beautiful and hidden archaelogical site in Campania.
